iNaturalist
11 of the plant photos above come from iNaturalist, a site where people share what they see in nature. We asked iNaturalist about each of them on Sep 25, 2026. What it said is next to each photo.
The creek pages also show a short line of iNaturalist sightings near the creek. It gives a plant name, a count, a date and a link. We show no photo or note from those sightings. Each one keeps the licence its person chose.
The creek check's questions
The questions and answers in the creek check and the video walks are not ours. They are the words of the OneAquaHealth Citizen Science App, in 6 of its languages. We quote them so a volunteer sees the questions they already know.
The words belong to the OneAquaHealth project. Our licences do not cover them.
Creek footage
The video walks and their stills are cut from these openly licensed videos.
